Lucid Dreaming without Effort
Against all that I have written before, I'm not keeping a dream diary anymore, I'm not training reality checks anymore, I'm not analyzing my dreams for dreamsigns anymore, actually I'm not doing anything about lucid dreaming techniques anymore, but still I have lucid dreams, regularly, sometimes short ones, sometimes very long ones. For the last 4 nights I dreamed lucidly.

I cannot say if this would be the case if I hadn't invested as much time before performing those things mentioned above, but I can tell you what I am doing differently now: I know that I will become lucid! This goes a bit further though than trying to convince oneself (autosuggestion). There is absolutely no doubt about it. If I had any doubt, it wouldn't work. I know that I will become lucid just like I assume that tomorrow the sun will rise again. That's all about it.

Perhaps, this may have worked from the very beginning. It's too late for me to find that out, but maybe you can. On the other hand, the conducted techniques and attained experiences might have been necessary to convince myself. If you never had a self-induced lucid dream, you might be doubtful about the whole matter and even if you had plenty of lucid dreams, you might still not be convinced that it's enough to know that you'll have more without performing further techniques. As indicated, this is speculation. It might also be the case that I have somehow become skilled enough or that I'm just lucky. It might be worth a shot to see for yourself... the question is: Can you erase all doubts? If not, what is the most effective way to achieve that level of conviction?

If lucid dreaming takes a lot of effort for you, my findings might at least endorse you not to give up, because it could mean, that it becomes as easy for you as for me, too. But I am also aware that even the firmest of convictions can be lost again.
